I have been dealing with this vet for sometime, and I was not pleased to say the least. I feel that these people are way too money minded. They want to play GOD and pick and choose who can afford their services. If you have a money issue come up and you need a vet. Do not bring your Beautiful Pet to these people, because they don't care..... I find it horrible, upsetting and very cold to say the least. Everyone once in awhile falls on hard times, and Dr, Button. I guess has never had her share of ups and downs. I guess She is perfect in every way, because I was told by her and her staff that they do not provide free services. They have a business to run. I never not one time, I asked for anything to ever be free for me, or my Animals. I simply asked for some compassion and I was denied that. I find it very disrespectful when you have an item that faces a severe life threatening emergency, and you are told money up front, or get out. How rotten is that? These people are very rotten, mean, cold, arrogant, snotty, and very unpleasant to say the least. I took this encounter with these people as a lesson, never entrust your Animal to the care of people who are only looking to run a business. Being a vet is more than running a business, It is about the Animal, and what is fair, right and ethical. They turned me away because I fell on hard times, when I recovered from my tough times, I reached out to them and they judged me and said I had some issues back then so it's still NO. Shameful, and I truly and deeply would be happy if this place closed down. We need a great vet in the Penn Yan area, and these judgmental hypocrites do not cut the mustard. So beware of how these people are. Thanks for reading. Daniel.
Many members of my family chose to drive a couple extra miles out of the way to go here. They put my dog right at ease and are very proactive about the pet care. The prices are reasonable.
I loved millstone and took both of my dogs there and everything was awesome, Until I referred them to my boyfriend, he took his 7 month old puppy to see millstone bc he was sick couldn't eat or drink and we had told the doctor that he hadn't had his shots yet. She had talked about testing for parvo and we had told her what ever it takes to get him better we will figure out the cost. But instead she gave him anti-nausea shot and pills to take home. Well he still couldn't eat and definitely couldn't take the meds. The next day he got even worse so we took him to Eastview vet and the fist thing they did was test for parvo and it came back positive and he Dr said we didn't bring him in as soon as he would have liked... now our little man is fighting for his life. After that we did some asking around town and I guess we are not the only people that took their animals out of millstones care and transferred to Eastview veterinarian clinic. As of now I am transferring record to eastview.
The doctors and staff @ Millstone are superior to any other veterinarian hospital we have used. The staff is friendly, compassionate and very efficient. I highly recommend this veterinary clinic to anyone seeking quality care for their animals.
they are very helpful and up to date on animal health!
